How does one share files?

A simple question, but a complicated answer. If you are sharing the one PC, then you will need to move any files/folders that you want to share into the "shared documents" folder, which should be visible in My Computer. If you want to share programs with someone on another computer, and don't want to be swapping discs, then you will need to have a network setup between the two computers. This can be quite tricky to get going. Once the network is running, you can share the resources between the computers. However, you may have to change the "permissions" on the files, to allow others to access them.
